    A collaboration between a distillery and a brewery.
    An original brandy made by distilling the wine from the Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Fujimaru Winery.

    The wine was distilled under reduced pressure only once, so that rich and complex aroma of merlot remains.
    It was not aged in wood, aged in a stainless steel tank for 7 months, for pure expression of various scents of merlot.
    Floral fragrance and subtle scent of fresh green leaves make good harmony, giving this brandy an distinctive character.

    A collaboration between a distillery and a brewery.
    An original brandy made by distilling the wine from the Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Fujimaru Winery.

    Distillation under reduced pressure was applied twice to adjust the flavor.
    It was not aged in wood, aged in a stainless steel tank for 7 months, so as that the original scent be brought the best and can be purely tasted.
    The first mouthfeel is soft, but soon a powerful attack of alcohol volume emerges and then, a refreshing flavor lingers.

    A collaboration between a distillery and a brewery.
    An original brandy made by distilling the vinaccia (wine pomace) from the Shimanouchi Fujimaru Winery.

    The original wine is naturally vinified without the addition of cultured yeast or SO2 at the winery.
    The vinaccia is first distilled by atmospheric distillation to slowly extract the aroma, then further distilled by vacuum distillation to raise the alcohol content while conditioning the flavour.
    The brandy is aged for four months in the stainless steel tanks without adding water.
    Enjoy the fresh and rich aroma and smooth mouthfeel, best served straight.

    Ehime prefecture is the largest producer of Naked Barley in Japan, and accounts for around 40% of the nation’s production.
    Naked barley grains thrash easily from the hulls, this is why it's called 'naked (Hadaka)'.
    Hosenbo uses this barley and has the roasted aroma which reminded us of chocolate coated barley snack called Mugi-choco and rice cracker called Kakinotane. The flavor is round and rich, can be served with ice for a sharper mouthfeel; or with hot water to feel the aroma; or even with soda.
    Hosenbo can be enjoyed by its own, but go well with daily dinner, especially with the meal like fried chicken or teriyaki of “Ehime-jidori”.

    Ehime Prefecture is Japan’s leading producer of chestnuts. Okuriokura uses quality chestnuts from the area including Shirokawa, and is distilled by vacuum distillation method.
    The resulting Shochu has rich aroma of rice, fruity mouthfeel from barley and refreshing sweetness from chestnuts – nicely balanced and harmonized.
    Best served with ice to enjoy its rounded flavor, but can be enjoyed with a small amount of water to feel the rich aroma,
    It goes well with the fish meal like sashimi or steamed fish especially with red seabream, the local catch. It can also be enjoyed with a meal using yuzu citrus or herby vegetables like shiso leaves or myoga.

    Ehime Prefecture is Japan’s leading producer of chestnuts. Okuriokura uses quality chestnuts from the area including Shirokawa.
    When we started making the premium range, our challenge was to bring out the flavor of chestnuts as much as possible. We used black koji for creating rich flavor and used special type of Sake yeast from Ehime prefecture called ‘EK-1’ to create great fragrance.
    It goes well with any meals but can also be enjoyed after dinner with nuts and cheese to feel the unique flavor, or sweets like pound cake.

    The premium plum wine made with the plums from Ehime prefecture and our rice shochu.
    The minimum amount of sugar is added and the sweetness is very balanced with the acidity of the plum -- can be enjoyed during the meal. The abv is 20% and is good to be served with soda. You can also enjoy this with ice to truly feel the flavor of the local plums.

    Aged in sherry barrel for 5 years and then waited for another 10 years, this is the long aged barley shochu. When the shochu has certain levels of colour like Shirokawa, it cannot be categorized as shochu and instead as liqueur.
    It has amazingly smooth mouthfeel and no longer has the taste of typical shochu, great company for your after dinner enjoyment or long night.
    The name 'Shirokawa' comes from the area where HIMEBAYASHI locates, and the label shows the shape of Ehime prefecture with tiny 'pot still' shows where we are.

    Ehime Prefecture is Japan’s leading producer of chestnuts. Hayashi uses quality chestnuts from the area including Shirokawa, and the local naked barley. The resulting Shochu is nicely balanced with refreshing sweetness from chestnuts and roasted aroma and rich mouthfeel from the barley.
    It can be served with ice to enjoy the sweetness, with hot water to feel the aroma, with cold water to simply enjoy the flavor, and even with soda for the refreshing moment. It goes well with Salt-flavoured yakitori (​skewered chicken), fish a la meuniere, Thai noodles – wide ranges of meals.
